Bad baseball

I bought the Sporting News Major League Baseball preview and saw some interesting facts.
The Cardinals are 822-635 since the start of the 2000 season, the third best record in baseball in that time frame. My beloved Kansas City Royals are 607-857 in that same time frame -- dead last.

And to add insult to injury, of the 10 worst records in baseball since the 2000 season, the Royals have the third worst record. In fact, the 2004 and 2005 Royals both rank in the Top 10.
